Editors of the Special Issue of

Journal of Telecommunications and Information Technology

New technologies and services for cybersecurity opportunities and threats

The issue will focus on the threats to both the infrastructure of operators and service providers and to the services themselves in an era of increasing cybersecurity threats. The potential authors include employees of service providers and telecom infrastructure operators from many European countries, who perceive the security threat from their unique perspective. Therefore, a look at the threat landscape and methods of addressing it, including the development of generic solutions, will be the thematic and qualitative distinguishing factor of this special issue. The special issue is primarily addressed to participants of the 63rd FITCE (Federation of Telecommunications Engineers of the European Community) International Congress, which will take place on 26-28 September 2024 in Krakow, Poland. We also invite all authors who are not involved in the event to contribute to this special issue.
